Afternoon everyone ….
These prices are really making things difficult for me with estimates for potential jobs. I figured out today that my overall increase for materials currently is up over twelve percent from just January of this year.
This is really putting me in a hard position. I cannot absorb these increases and make the money I truly deserve. But I also can’t throw the entire increase to my potential clients. I’m trying to figure out a middle ground.

You have all read that my birthday was last Sunday. Which falls during the Taurus zodiac sign, which is very relevant to this post, since I am a Taurus and this is a zombie Taurus zodiac round.
One of the killer rounds the Intaglio Mint does is a Zombie Zodiac series. They are all made as a two troy ounce silver round. They have several really cool ones. I’ve actually gifted several of them to friends and family, because I like the designs so much. I’m not going to collect them for my personal stack but they do make pretty cool gifts. In my opinion anyway…..
There are some pretty cool ones in the series, but of course I’m very biased in saying the Taurus one is the best looking.

Sorry to hear about those rising material costs, it really is hard to pass it on to the consumer in the end. I don't miss running my own business for just that reason... I hope you can find the "balance" that allows you to make a decent profit for your hard work!

It’s gotten ridiculous. They are killing the trades!!!! I’ve spoken to a couple of guys semi in the same industry. They aren’t happy with it either. One does a ton of molding work. He’s passing the entire increase to the client. I still need to look at final numbers before I make my decision.
