We found a friend….

Afternoon everyone……

As you all should know if you are reading my posts. Me and my girlfriend Jennifer are in Costa Rica on a vacation. Today was going to be a chill day, lay by the pool, take a few dips in the water and enjoy some vacation style cocktails.

If anyone is considering coming to Costa Rica, I would highly recommend the Planet Hollywood Resort. Again we booked it through Costco Travel and have received many upgrades that apparently were part of our package. But the service here is impeccable. Every single person on staff is pleasant, accommodating and very friendly.

We have eaten at three of the restaurants already and all three were fantastic. The produce here is so flavorful, I am actually choosing foods with certain items in them. Anything with a tomato I’ve been eating. They are what a tomato should and used to taste like when I was a kid.

***Enough on that….***

When we went for a dip in the pool, our new found friend Charlie was keeping an eye on our stuff…..

We have our own private pool, bar and snack stand as a part of our Star Package. But decided to head down to the main pool area where Guy’s Burger Place was for lunch. We both ordered the bacon smothered in cheese cheeseburger with loaded fries. They were quite tasty.

The rest of the afternoon was back by the pool enjoying the sun, which was a very beautiful 95 degrees today. Yes, it was quite hot requiring many dips in the pool. During and afterwards we enjoyed some vacation cocktails.
