Things are just not ok. While I can’t get into it because of it being a personal matter. I need to write just to keep some normalcy.
I’m going to share a bar that I acquired through a trade with The Bear many years ago now. My guess would be 2018’ish. We had done a bunch of stuff for each other. I saw him post about this exact bar. I text him asking if he’d be willing to part with it. Being the great guy that he is, he agreed. These bars are no longer produced by Monarch Precious Metals, which is a shame. This is truly a piece of art.
It’s a Kit Kat style bar, by Monarch Precious Metals. It’s also ten ounces, which is a nice size bar and my personal favorite to stack.
These are bars from their early stages of pouring. I’ve seen them selling on eBay for quite a premium.

Here is some info on Monarch Precious Metals:
Monarch Precious Metals is a privately held, family owned and operated company. The company was founded in 2008 in response to the increasing demand for gold and silver bullion. We employ a small crew of dedicated and skilled workers to produce unique bullion pieces as well as industry standard investor grade bullion.
The founding of Monarch started with a small local coin shop, Oregon Coin and Jewelry. The shop was having trouble sourcing silver bullion to sell to its customers. From there the idea of making silver bullion was born.
The next phase was hand pouring silver bars using a small induction melter typically used in jewelry making. Those bars were then hand stamped with basic individual letter stamps.
Eventually, Monarch Precious Metals was formed and moved to a larger warehouse in Phoenix, Oregon for production where we first made some of the original struck 1/10th ounce silver rounds and started machining our own molds for hand pouring small sheets and small bars. In 2011, we moved to our current location in Medford, Oregon. We have continually improved our production processes and introduced a large array of new products over the years. Monarch does cast some really fun silver pieces. Despite Not shipping directly to customers north over the border I still mange to get most of what I wanted. MPM is a fine operation with reasonable prices.
