Siri has been with us for about 7 years, his launch came with the iPhone 4s. A virtual assistant who promised a lot, but was left blank, the biggest problem with this transformation could be Apple itself with its commitment to privacy.
One of Siri's parents, says in an interview, that the main idea, was the virtual assistant that could help us on a daily basis in a much smarter way in a real use on a day to day basis. But that evolution has been truncated in recent years.

Apple has even been investing a large amount of money in promoting the virtual assistant to demonstrate all the benefits it can perform for us, as you did in this commercial with "The Rock".
But this is the expected level, Siri was conceived with a purpose, to be a real virtual assistant capable of making decisions for us and thus streamline our own actions or tasks. But Apple's commitment to privacy would be eroding this evolution, as The Wall Street Journal commented in June of last year.
Perhaps, in this WWDC 18, we have made greater progress than Siri can and we want the sea, especially by developers who expect greater integration with Apple's virtual assistant in their applications.
