hello steemites! π
it another wonderful day, hope you are having a joyous and grateful day,(i guess so!π) it really great and amazing from my endπ. I will love to share a sketch i have been working on for awhile now, this time i decided to draw a colour portrait. I was suppose to drop this post yesterday but there was a change in schedule because yesterday was my birthday π. It was really fun having friends around, with lot of pretty wishes in my inbox and it was really amazing through out the day πππ. I will be expecting my gift from you tooπ , please make use of the upvote iconππHere is a quote for the dayπ
how it was drawn
relax and enjoy your viewπβοΈthe right eye and eyebrow
Why do you start from the eye? It is because, it the most sensitive part of the face, you see into the drawing through the eyes. That's why i always start from the eye.
Firstly, i made a light sketch of the eye and later applied more details on it to make it thick and pronounce, same thing was also applied to the eyebrow. Then i started applying some colours around the eye with brush as seen below

βοΈthe left eye, nose and lips
For the left eye same step was applied for both eyes . For the lip a thick line was drawn between the upper lip and lower lip and i applied colour to both as shown below π

βοΈthe hair
Firstly, i sketch the part of the head that contain hair, make some little dot on it and later started applying paint to it with brush. As shown below π

βοΈthe fingers and neck
Firstly i sketch out the hand and the fingers in it, then i applied paint to it. As shown below π

βοΈfinal touch of the shirt and other part of the face
Here is the final part, were care and skill need to be applied to bring out the realistic figure in the portrait, same the curves were drawn in the shirt sketch and later paint was applied to it with brushes, then proper details was applied to the face and other part of the portrait as shown in the images below π

Wow this is beautiful, I really wish to learn how to draw some day.
Thanks for the mention i think you should use the #art tag instead of drawing.
Thanks very much @phunke, thanks for the wonderful ideal,,,, it just a matter of time you can still learn how to draw, First of all you need to develop passion for itπ
