Hoya is a tropical plant. It is an evergreen plant, grows in South Asia and some part of Australia.
Naturally it grows on big tree in the forest and occasionally in rocky areas.
Last year I planted two Hoya plants at my balcony in flower tob. This year about 10 to 12 flowers has been bloomed at my balcony.
My sister-in-law Mousumi (Mou) brought it from the forest of Sreemangal, this area is also famous for tea garden in Bangladesh.
In Bangladesh it is known as “মোম ফুল” or wax plant.
Hoyas are very sweet aromatic flowers with packed of natural Honey.
So when it blooms, we see a lot of ants and honey bees on the flowers.
