SmartCash is Introducing a Sister Coin that is Privacy Oriented
I was browsing my FB feed this morning. and saw something that almost made me spray my coffee all over my screen. This is what I saw:

When SmartCash was initially developed, a strong emphases was placed on privacy. The best feature was the RENEW feature. You could 'burn' coins and have them replaced with new smartcash, allowing for a completely untraceable coin. This is a game changer.

Then one day, the 'renew' feature disappeared.
I have hoped that the 'burn' feature would be reactivated, since it is one feature (among several) that makes SmartCash unique. I'm assuming the feature was removed because it caused issues with adoption.
Why was this Feature Disabled?
Some companies were uncomfortable about SmartCash's ability to be fungible since it's untraceable. To ensure SmartCash wasn't delisted, the feature was disabled.
It would be easy to use fear, uncertainty and doubt to damage the reputation of SmartCash as a 'criminal's coin', since it could be 'laundered' with a click of a mouse.
But financial privacy does not mean criminal.

The advantage of digital currency is both transparency and privacy. SmartCash offers both - transparency and privacy. A public ledger that can be viewed by anyone and the ability to renew the coins, giving them a fresh start. This is what makes SmartCash one of the best coins available today.

Very interesting. I hadn't bought any when you mentioned it. It was at $0.15. Then it jumped. Now it is back to about $0.15, but Steem is higher. I will look at getting some. What wallet is used? Is it a SmartCash created and distributed wallet? I hate when a coin doesnt even release or make their own wallet available.

SmartCash uses it's own blockchain and has it's own wallet. It's the real-deal, not an Ethereum knock-off like so many other coins. They have an online wallet or local wallet that can be downloaded and backed up. I really like seeing all the continual improvements, it's another indicator that this is a long-term coin. It's not going away over night! I suspect that once word starts getting out about this "privacy" coin and distribution, we're going to see another pump. How high is anyone's guess, but it's an exciting rollercoaster to ride! @ironshield

Once the coin is widely distributed exchanges will be something of the past, we are moving forward and FIAT will have little or no role to play in the near future. Enjoyed reading your article.

So true, for the last 3+ years I have just tried to get my way arround the crypto world, but it has become so easy now. Shopping and spending everywhere with cryptocurrency as well as earning daily has become a way of life now.
