If you haven't had the time to get over to the Discord channel for smart let me tell you the things you miss. For one there is the great community they show so much love and respect for Smart Technology to the point that everyone is involved from top to bottom, whether you are a dev or part of the smart team posting social media blogs helping promote to the miners who spend their time grinding out coins. When they state they have a hive mentality they mean it, because everyone is networked together in order to make the dream work!
Now with that in mind there are many features to the discord that you can take advantage of from the merchant channel where you can purchase items using smart. That's right folks a marketplace specializing in Smart Currency. Buy, sell, trade for that Smart you love.
Then you have Smartcash news for all you n3rds who love to know the latest info surrounding the community and currency trends. This is especially great because they list upcoming events, new trade platforms, and partnerships to keep you know on how to get vested in exchange community. There is also an announcement tab that gives you updated info on changes to the block chain and community upgrades so that you don't feel like the team is doing things without warning.
If you scroll down a little further you can find the main-tipping channel. Now this is where the fun happens. IF you have ever been in a super storm you know that when it rains it pours. Same concept with airdrops known as RAIN.
