You never have to charge your smartphone at night

in #smartphone5 years ago

Charge your smartphone at night . A topic that has been debating since the dawn of time. No one warns you about the potential negative consequences you can go against (at least until something irreparable happens). Precisely for this reason we want to provide you with valid arguments for not charging the phone all night .

A new survey “ How should the perfect smartphone be? ". There was talk of services, design, artificial intelligence. But little has been said about security.

All of us (we can't deny it) feel a certain satisfaction in getting up in the morning and seeing the battery at 100% . In itself this aspect is wrong, since the average life of the support is reduced. Nevertheless we are here today to debate on another topic.

Let's talk about the real possibility that the smartphone can explode . We do not want to be catastrophic, but there have been cases of burning batteries and they continue to exist even with latest generation telephones. This happens in very specific situations, all linked by a discriminating factor: temperature.

An excessive temperature not only ruins the smartphone but risks causing it to implode with consequences that go far beyond the destruction of the device. If we are in the immediate vicinity we can seriously hurt ourselves. The phone turns into a real bomb.

Leaving the phone charging all night (maybe under a blanket) is not good. Failure to recirculate air causes the cells that make up the battery to swell to the point of generating a compression that generates an explosion. It rarely happens, as manufacturers limit the onset of these effects through accurate laboratory tests. But know that there is even the slightest possibility.

Our advice is to recharge the smartphone on sight and according to a specific schedule. Each manufacturer has provided a special quick charge circuit that guarantees longevity to the support for short periods of charging. In half an hour we can have enough charge for a whole day. Alternatively, use a powerbank , but always remember to avoid long top-ups at night. It's a security issue.
