Certain circumstances surrounding the current economic/political climate have me really considering upgrading my phone now, the one I've had for 5 years
I'm currently using a one plus 7 pro and I've loved it, it's almost a perfect phone for me but the battery capacity has taken a significant hit in the time since I got it in september of 2019, and I think it's ultimately going to be sooner rather than later that I'm probably going to need an upgrade
so if certain prices are destined to rise because of certain circumstances I think now might be the time to just jump ahead and get what I may need
I had a galaxy phone before and I'd very likely be returning to that, the s24 ultra looks really interesting to me
I do like the OnePlus ecosystem, although I think it's since been upgraded a bit as I'm running on an older oneplus phone, and there's modes like the zen mode which I love which would be an actual thing I miss if I switch over
I run nova launcher so the appearance of the phone/of samsung's phones don't matter much to it, in that sense
I'm gonna keep the layout I got going, but in the store I got to hold and see the samsung UI of today and it is smooth
the oneplus 7 pro had great battery life when I initially got it
good for back then
I have no means of judging how much it's gotten better in the industry since, this is the longest I've ever owned and used a phone
