Hello Steemians!
Today, I'm introducing you to a new series called Flower To The People! As many of you know, I use my iPhone 6 to take photographs and at school studied fine art painting, as well as, interior design. Having painted Still Life, I now take the opportunity to photograph them which is a whole lot quicker and also super fun! Using items gathered for design and flowers which I have a habit of buying (to add loveliness to the house) I thought why not share them with my Steemit friends!

The contrast between the black background and the green of the stems is amazing, did you capture this with camera setting adjustment or editing software? Good luck in the contest!
Thank you! I did use an app and played with some settings with contrasts, vibrancy, lights and shadows trying to get that "Vermeer" look, if you have an iPhone Hipstamatic is a fun photography app! :D

I am the worst at photography, whenever the moment is perfect I never think to reach for my phone.
We just got back from New Orleans and I doubt I took more than a few photos and the few that I took were in the middle of the night.
Lol! But you're expert with words! I was thinking about you! Was wondering how you and your girl enjoyed A New Orleans Christmas? A first for her? I hope we will still be able to delight in a post? :D
I think she liked it, but sadly I was a bit of a party pooper.
I have CP and I strained my neck on the car ride so I was stuck in the hotel bed for the majority of the first four days of our trip, luckily @cathi-xx was taking care of me.
So I guess I have to take her back again to make up for that lol
