This is my entry for #ColorChallenge:Hello Steemians,
today I will show you a great place for relaxation near to my city Pancharevo Lake .
Lake Pancharevo is an artificial pool. It is 12 km east of the center of Sofia,Bulgaria.
At the end of the Pancharevo Gorge, between the mountains of Vitosha and Lozenska.
From the higher places there is a beautiful panorama to the entire water area, Vitosha, Plana mountain, Pancharevo villages, Kokalyane, part of Sofia and Lyulin mountain.
The terraces were built in socialist times for the World Rowing Championship that took place in the lake.
In the past there were many races, there were electronic boards and everything else.
Now only the concrete remains.
There is a large parking lot, and then the road is asphalt.
Over the years the region has become a preferred place for sport, recreation and entertainment for the citizens and the guests of the capital, for which the built sports and recreation facilities, the many cozy restaurants and the clean nature, in the immediate vicinity of Sofia.
To this is added the possibility of hiring waterbikes, boats and good conditions for navigation.
In 1977 the Pancharevo Lake was held at the World Canoeing Kayak Championship, and in 1981 the World Championship for Young People in Water Sports.
Here, pets also have fun
In the Pancharevo lake, various species of fish are breeding: bass, perch, catfish, caraway, sunbathe, pike, gray, lynx, squirrel, red-breasted, carp.
The lake is a traditional home of storks, even grubs.
This is one of the great places in my home country
