ME: Once upon a Time there were these people who established a new place to dwell upon the earth, They each had their own area they called a state but they all got together to help protect each other in case of danger. They wrote a Constitution and they all signed it promising to protect each other in case of invasion and to establish rules for their general overall welfare. They agreed that money needed to have value so they chose GOLD AND SILVER to be the only thing that could be required as a payment of debts. Oh you could pay for your debts anyway you wanted but no one could MAKE you do it.
SNOWMAN: "Sounds nice..."
ME: Yes it was... You know what else//
SNOWMAN "What?"
ME: "They agreed to protect each others right to property and inventions so each of them could be free to think and invent stuff without a fear of it being stolen..."
SNOWMAN : "wow ,, was the before we started trading with Socialist and communist countries who don't care about stuff like that?"
ME "Yes.. way before then"
SNOWMAN: Did the government give people free food and housing and healthcare and pay for everyone's education back then?
ME: No they did not, you see the constitution that they agreed upon did not let them do that because they did not think it was a good idea to make people work against there will so that others could get stuff for free.
SNOWMAN: My friend the Scarecrow said that that is called Socialism..
Me: Yes it is but even more it is called STEALING.. remember "THOU SHALT NOT STEAL"
