Steemit Music League Challenge with POINTS Cryptocurrency

This week starts the League and Challenge the Steemit music community has been waiting for.

One League, the Steemit Music League, will bring together the Steemit music community.

Similar to the Steem Poker League (@spl), the Steemit Music League (SML) will have multiple games, contests, and leagues within it creating one epic, flowing community.

The SML's goal is to create an avenue for Steemians to achieve their dreams by working with one another on their life paths.

The Steemit Music League includes the following:

The Beat Battle League is almost done with its fourth week with winners for Week Four being announced tonight.

The Dreams Come True Challenge is in it's first month of competition and is live until September 16, 2017. We already have nine (9) epic entries so far based off of the universal theme of love.

The Steemit Music League Challenge starts today and taking submissions next Monday night with details below.

The Music Producers' Feedback contest is hosted by @vegancap and is a contest centered on giving and receiving feedback in Exchange for Whaleshares and Voiceshares.

All contest, challenges, and leagues mentioned above are all apart of the Steemit Music League.

The Steemit Music League will have a leaderboard that is fed by the points earned by Steemians in each particular contest, challenge, or league.

Points earned can be redeemed at the end of each month for the cryptocurrency POINTS if they choose to. If they choose to redeem their points for POINTS then their leaderboard score is reset to zero and then can begin the climb back to the top.

So if you are confident in your skills, you will be able to redeem additional cryptocurrency monthly and then still have a chance to build your way back to the final challenge and the trip the Las Vegas.

The top three of this leaderboard at the end of the first seasons of the Steemit Music League (December 31, 2017) will be part of a live music challenge.

The winner will get a 7-day paid (lodging at the Palms Place and travel) to Las Vegas.

That's right the winner of the Steemit Music League will get a vacation courtesy of us to Las Vegas.

What better way to celebrate your championship than in Vegas.

Without further adieu here are the details for the Steemit Music League Challenge:

All genres of music can be apart of the Steemit Music League Challenge. Anything from heavy metal, rap, hip-hop, soul, gospel, country, electronic, basically anything you can think of music related and it's a go.

All you have to do is submit an original entry based off of the universal theme of the week using the tag #smlchallenge and/or comment the entry on any SML Challenge posts.

This first week's universal them is:

Happiness.

So all you have to do is create a musical entry based off of this them of happiness. Whatever resonates most with you or whatever track makes you feel this way.

The options are endless so let's see your creativity Steemians.

The entries will be judged off of the following:

Sound Quality,
Technicality,
Creativity, and
Relevance to universal theme

The prize pool is as follows:

FIRST PLACE WINNER: 20 SBD + 20 Points

SECOND PLACE WINNER: 10 SBD + 12 Points

THIRD PLACE WINNER: 6 SBD + 6 Points

FOURTH PLACE WINNER: 4 SBD + 4 Points

CROWD FAVORITE: 10 SBD and 10 Points.

The crowd favorite each week will be determined by the amount of comments responding to their entries and upvotes on their submission comment.

Week One of the Steemit Music League Challenge starts today and will accept submission until next Monday night with winners being announced Tuesday evening.
