What's the big deal about Shisha?
Smoking Shisha (Sheeshah) otherwise known as Hookah, is an ancient middle eastern passtime that involves smoking flavoured syrup with tobacco, usually with strong nicotine (or none), that is supposed to give the user a huge head buzz.
Smoking shisha is seen as relatively harmless and there are lounges all over Canada, popping up increasingly, where a person can buy a Hookah to smoke for about $15 a flavour.
But WAIT. Someone realized people are smoking INDOORS.
They are moving and have moved to ban the delicious tasting smoke indoors at any city- licenced facility.
So now Shisha lounges everywhere are closing down. For shame.
Photo is me a few years ago at a very classy, fun Shisha lounge. Despite the sweet smoke, I must say the food was great.

a ole friend , good friend, i say old as our souls know ...but he is from lebanon "Ali' his name ...he always would go to shisha places and smoke shisha and i think there were dancing gypsies or the whirling dervishes dancing , something like that maybe......anyway.......he always invite me but i never did make it to one with him.......not as of yet anyhow.........
maybe one day i go smoke some shisha with him who knows
