Thanks Tim , I am aware of steemprojects but it seems very static , something dynamic with user numbers/accounts will be more useful for investors to evaluate the adoption metric.

Creator of SteemProjects here. I think your idea is very good. The problem is, that it is not easy to get such data. On ethereum it is much easier to count transactions... on Steem apps are integrated with Steem in so many different ways...
But actually, I was thinking about creating SteemProjects more dynamic.. like for example by showing a countdown: "New Steem App will be revealed in 4:23:52...".
