Google Chrome browser and Firefox have private options.
Chrome is called "Incognito", Firefox is called "Private Browsing".

Access them from the three lines or dots on the top right of the screen.

The private mode doesn't allow sites to access any cookies on the computer. Just make sure you sign out of all sites before using private. Those sites can still collect information about you if you're not using private through cookies.

The average person could have thousands of cookies in their browser from sites they sign on. Some sites will set 6 - 20 cookies per site.
