Sociall.io is poised to interrupt the social media ecosystem, relocating platforms like Facebook with its enhanced privacy platform and encrypted data.
The Sociall.io network records data in a decentralised mode making it hard for search engines to index user profiles.
According to Sociall.io public announcement, people can now sign up to enjoy its beta version which provides better privacy protection as compared to Facebook.
In the recent past, Facebook got into hot water because of data privacy matters. Most social media networks allow third parties access and harvest users’ data without their consent.
Billions of people use social media across the globe. Nonetheless, most of these platforms don’t handle users’ data protectively. Some even sell users data to third parties without the users’ endorsement.
Sociall.io platform founder and CEO, Jade Mulholland has said that:

Sociall encrypts all multimedia uploads and data, and keeps it secure all over the globe, making it fully decentralized.”
Unlike Facebook and the like, Sociall does not claim possession of people’s data, which is built in a manner that makes it hard to retrieve or display in search engine results. On Sociall, the user has the whole right to his data.
SCL is the native digital currency of the Sociall platform which facilitates the entire transactions in the Sociall ecosystem. The currency is already in circulation and can be traded on different exchanges. The entire user accounts will entail ‘decentralized smart contracts enabled wallets’ that will aid them to store SCL and other cryptos.
The sociall platform is set to be wholly controlled by users who will have the power to remove offensive posts and spam messages while earning SCL for their entire positive activities in the community.
Users will also control access to their data and profile by utilizing the platform’s encrypted decentralized storage system. During the year 2019, data storage will be shifted to IPFS, which is data storage distributed peer-to-peer system.
IdentityServer will ensure secure management of the entire authentication procedures on the platform. Penetration testing and audits are conducted by a trusted third-party security company to ensure transparency, accuracy, and efficiency. All audit reports will be shared on GitHub.

Sociall will entail an in-built marketplace where users can trade using the SCL token. Users will pay 1% fee from the merchant on every transaction.
Users can top up their accounts with fiat money or cryptocurrencies while messaging will be the peer-to-peer system. However, committed messaging communities will be included in the platform soon.
Sociall and MoxyOne are set to enter into a strategic partnership which will make it possible to use debit cards and permit them to spend their SCL token around the world.
Later on, this year, the full Sociall project will be an open source. Public members will receive bounties to test codes and search for any loopholes in design, security and other areas on the platform.
