Well I am sure we all have more than a reason to be on this networks and building relationship is definitely one of them.
There is a thing about meeting people from another part of the world and making sure you guys are always in good terms. Why not build with your friends who are offline too. Social media has taken away the life we are familiar with and everyone wants to be like the ones they see online at the tap of their finger.
Do not let the facade of this technological generation derail you from your morals and views
Use your social media as a place of learning and sharing of knowledge. People are out there waiting to learn from your story while some are waiting to see your downfall. It is not a competition; it is all a big field where different players play the same game but in a different place and way. Let your moral be your conscience and always do what is right.
Lots of opportunities are at our reach these days all because of this social medium, sharing information that will benefit all in one or another is a blessing. Social media is also one of the fastest means of sharing information globally because news travels faster than a wildfire.
Employers visit these pages daily to see what their workers are up to, even a job seeker's page is randomly checked to see what kind of person he / she might be. Let your own portray an excellent version of you. Be it LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter always have it at the back of your mind that, someone somewhere is watching you.
Also remember to be careful of what you put out because it may come back to haunt you at the least expected time...Guard your pages like it’s your birth certificate and never be an advocate to evil
I love social media. It connects us no matter where we are coming from. We can be connected with other people that want to go the same places we want to go. It's amazing.
