They sure do, we got some split units installed to reduce our usage of the central units.. went from using around 6kw of power to around 2kw which was nice.
Yeah the battery bank is huge, its oversized for the current amount of panels I have. But I am about to build out 60 more so it should put all that 45kwh to use soon.

The ability to scale is the positives and this is the part I enjoy as the goal of stepping away from the grid is possible.
