Winter weather can be tough on electrics. Working on it at night seems like a good idea as you can't just turn the panels off. The wiring for ours has big warning labels about that. I hope you are all sorted now. Enjoy that winter sun.

Yeah makes sense, all that ice turns into water eventually and tries to find its way into stuff.
