Update Post 2
Hey guys. This is my second update post for SoloHive. This go around we (my partner Claude and I) added a few more features, while also knocking out some of the little bugs you find here and there. And testing, testing and some more testing. This batch of updates was focused on support for Open Graph and Twitter/X meta tags along with a place for users to add analytics code snippets to their SoloHive sites.
What's new
Here is a list of the new features added to SoloHive in this update.
Analytics Slot - When a SoloHive user eventually sets up Google Analytics or Cloudflare Analytics, they just paste the snippet into analyticsCode in config.js and it'll fire. This gives the user the option of more detailed analytics to track traffic on their SoloHive site.
Open Graph Meta Tags - OG tags were added, so when a user or visitor shares a link from a SoloHive site to a social media platform, a rich preview card is displayed instead of a plain hyperlink. This should improve click-throughs from shared links.
Twitter/X Meta Tags - Similar to Open Graph Meta Tags, these tags are specific to Twitter/X. When a link is shared on Twitter/X a rich preview is shown instead of a plain hyperlink.
What's Next?
Well. We are going to continue to test and address bugs as they come along. Also, since we have been doing fixes and quite a few edits, we have decided that it's time to do a code cleanup on all files to find things like unused functions and clean up the code. And once that is done, back to some more testing.

That's it for now. This has been kind of a frantic few days since the launch of SoloHive and hopefully we can slow down a bit and get into a normal groove.
