The Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve is a part of the Moscow State United Museum-Reserve “Kolomenskoye - Izmailovo - Lyublino”. The ancient village of Kolomenskoye near Moscow has been known since the beginning of the XIV century. Later it became famous as a summer country estate of the Moscow tsars. There are 19 monuments of history and culture in Kolomenskoye, including 11 of federal significance.

The pride of Kolomenskoye: the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, protected by UNESCO (built in 1532), the St. George Bell Tower (16th century), the Vodovzvodnaya Tower (17th century), the Palace Pavilion of 1825, as well as the recreated palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich and much more. Kolomenskoye hosts a large number of exhibitions, concerts, excursion and art programs (Tuesday – Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 11:00 to 19:00).
