Thats very commendable . Never waste food. Food is a blessing and those have it should be forever thankful.
That philosophy flows into everything I do. I also grow more and more of my food every year. The sauce here was made with canned tomatoes from my garden as well, so I also compost. I build a lot as well and mostly use repurposed materials.
