Aside from being able to speak different languages, Jose Rizal was also known as romantic and his love life has been full of controversies as he was rumoured to be a womanizer being linked to 9 women.
Jose Rizal's height--Philippine historians have been trying to answer this question for a long time, and a definitive answer may have just come recently. Historian Ambeth Ocampo shared a note written by Rizal himself about his height: at 19 years and four days old, he stood at one meter and 61 centimeters. According to Ocampo, this translates to 5.28 feet or almost 5-foot-3. The height was written in one of his Rizal's notebooks, and he found it when he was filing his scans of Rizal manuscripts.
Jose Rizal was executed in Rizal Park (formerly known as "Bagumbayan")on December 30, 1896 in the same area fanned the flames of the 1896 Philippine Revolution against the Kingdom of Spain. The park was officially named in his honor, and the monument enshrining his remains serves as the park's symbolic focal point.
