As a biz owner myself, it’s insane not to have a lease filled long before this. Hopefully it’s a lesson learned. Landlords are mostly mid level owners who pay a mortgage every month and don’t earn much extra income but it’s a longer term investment as they build as they pay off mortgage. Everybody tends to envision some billionaire owns every building but in most cases this isn’t so. Always gotta lock in lease and plan accordingly.
