Las películas y series de televisión se complementan muy bien con la música que usan y por lo tanto a la hora de escoger el soundtrack de algún film, los productores se lo toman muy en serio, porque esas canciones pueden trascender en el tiempo y ser recordadas por siempre, como el caso de Unchained Melody el icónico tema de Ghost.

Today I want to share with all of you my suggestions to encourage you to participate in the talent showcase that is active in the community and that for this month is about songs from movies or TV series. Movies and TV series are complemented very well with the music they use and therefore when choosing the soundtrack of a film, producers take it very seriously, because those songs can transcend in time and be remembered forever, as in the case of Unchained Melody, the iconic theme of Ghost.
Today, I leave you these five suggestions for you to participate with us in this talent showcase.
No cabe duda que para los que crecimos con las películas de Disney, éstas se vuelven un clásico. Ese es el caso del icónico tema La Bella y la Bestia, mundialmente conocida como Beauty and the Beast que fue el tema con el que se presentó el film en 1991, año en el que los estudios Disney adaptaron esta historia de amor y la convirtieron en otro éxito de Hollywood. La canción ganó un Oscar y un Grammy.
La primera versión de todas, la de 1991, era interpretada a dúo por Celine Dion y Peabo Bryson. La que les presento a continuación es la adaptación en español para la acción real de la película de 2017, interpretado por Carlos Rivera y Lolita Cortes.
There is no doubt that for those of us who grew up with Disney movies, they become a classic. This song belonging to Florence and the Machine was released this year and belongs to the Disney super production Cruella and appears during the end credits of the film. Debo confesar que esta película de DreamWorks Animation es una de mis favoritas. El mensaje tras la cinta nos lleva a reflexionar sobre el valor de la familia y la amistad. También se convirtió en una de mis preferidas puesto que la voz del protagonista sería interpretada por Jim Parsons, conocido por su papel de Sheldon en The Big Bang Theory.
Esta canción es interpretada magistralmente por Jenifer López y posee una melodía ligera como una pluma, un tema hermoso que pueden disfrutar tanto niños como adultos. Feel The Light es una balada sentida con el corazón y el video nos lleva a través de un viaje mágico de amistad entre la niña pequeña y su amigo alienígena.
This movie from DreamWorks Animation is one of my favorites. The message behind the film leads us to reflect on the value of family and friendship. It also became one of my favorites since the voice of the main character would be played by Jim Parsons, known for his role as Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory.
This song is masterfully performed by Jenifer Lopez and has a feather light melody, a beautiful song that both children and adults can enjoy. Feel The Light is a heartfelt ballad and the video takes us through a magical journey of friendship between the little girl and her alien friend.
Si queremos una película con raíces culturales bien marcadas, pues este film de Disney/Pixar es lo que estás buscando. Es una canción popular mexicana originada en la región del istmo de Tehuantepec, en Oaxaca y su fecha de creación es desconocida, aunque a menudo es asociada con la leyenda de la Llorona, su relación es incierta.
En la película, la canción nos genera una sorpresa muy emotiva, puesto que la interpreta Mamá Imelda, la tátara-abuela de Miguel, que está en contra de que el pequeño siga su sueño de ser un cantante.

It is a popular Mexican song originated in the region of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, in Oaxaca and its date of creation is unknown, although it is often associated with the legend of La Llorona, its relationship is uncertain.

Y porque también las series de televisión nos dejan buenos temas musicales, les dejo mi recomendación de esta canción icónica de la popular serie española La Casa de Papel.
Bella Ciao es un himno antifascista, era cantada por la resistencia italiana que se oponía al fascismo de Benito Mussolini y a las tropas nazis durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. En la serie se utiliza también como una canción de protesta y por lo general es utilizada en los momentos claves de la misma.
And because TV series also leave us good musical pieces, I leave you my recommendation of the iconic song of the popular Spanish series La Casa de Papel.
Bella Ciao is an anti-fascist anthem, it was sung by the Italian resistance that opposed the fascism of Benito Mussolini and the Nazi troops during World War II. In the series it is also used as a protest song and is usually used at key moments in the series.

Yo traje a la iniciativa el tema “Hijo de Hombre” de Phill Collins de la película de Disney Tarzán. Este tema nos muestra la vida de Tarzán tratando de encajar en el mundo que le ha tocado vivir, mientras llega a la edad adulta. Esta canción fue lanzada en el año 1999. Espero que disfruten mi versión.
