Peeled and chopped a thumb of ginger and half a carrot. Also washed and finely chopped 6 leaves of Chinese cabbage & 6 fresh shiitake mushrooms.
Everything was fried in sesame oil starting with ginger, carrots and the hard cabbage. Then the soft ingredients were added and boiled in water until everything was soft.
Miso, soy sauce and sake were added for flavour after that
