I've never done these types of designs on bread but I sure have carved a pumpkin, well I found out it's not exactly the same. Though the pumpkins did turn out the best imo...you'll see 😅

Spider Webs
Turns out I don't really know what a spider's web looks like. I could have looked at some pictures but that would take all the fun out of it, right? Lolol fuck me...

They're right! Again, I thought I knew what a spider looked like...
Well at least ticks are scary, so it's not a total loss 😂
It will certainly be exciting to see how the customers take this...
I wonder which ones will sell first 🤔
Next batch I'm definitely going to look at some pictures first. Lesson learned.

Are you running the farmstand as well as doing all this baking, or did you hire someone to manage it?

The little market is self serve honour system 💗 Works really well, I just open it up in the morning, stock it and empty cash from the little lock box a few times a day and then lock it up at night. It's perfect because I can do all my work and errands and homeschool the boys and not have to be out there or pay someone.
Any theft that occurs is peanuts compared to my lost time or paying wages.

That vampire pumpkin line had me cackling, and the pumpkins are the winners for sure lol. From a customer eye those jack o' lantern cuts will fly first, the spdier ones read as ticks which is still creepy enough for October :) A light dust of rice flour before scoring and slightly deeper eye slits can give more contrast after bake, definitley helps.
