Today we didn’t have to be anywhere until 0800, so of course I got up at 0600, had breakfast and then went and did some studying. Our first aid course began at 0800, we went right through with the lesson until 1100 when it was time for brunch. Today we had something called jaffles (kind of like a pancake/sandwich with mince and cheese and stuff inside – super yummy) with salad and fruit. The first aid trainers stayed for lunch which must have been why it was so yummy.
After brunch it was straight back on with the first aid, we went through until about 1600! It’s been quite interesting, but I haven’t really learnt anything new, just a bit about how to deal with snake bites.
When we were freed for the day I went for a walk with Jess, Tanza, Katie, Rachel and Annabelle. Today we went out of the camp and walked up the road. We still saw quite a lot of insets which was cool, and we kept looking at all the rocks as well.

We walked for about an hour and a half and then it was time for dinner – sausage, mash, carrots and salad – such a good food day today.
We went back to the classroom, used the internet and carried on persevering with the bird calls, then it was time for showers, reading and bed.
