Hours after North Korea launched a missile passing through the Japanese skyline, South Korea reacted.

As per President Moon Jae-in's orders, the South Korean military is ready. The Air Force sent four F-15Ks fighter jets to demonstrate its expertise in responding to North Korea's provocative action

The four fighter jets fly to the border between the two Koreas in Taebaek. They carry eight Mark 84 or MK 84 bombs weighing 1 ton.

"If North Korea threatens us with nuclear and missiles, our Air Force will not remain silent, we will not hesitate to use force to destroy North Korea's leadership," said the commander of the operation who declined to be named as quoted from Yonhap on Tuesday (29). / 8/2017).

Not just dropping bombs, the South Korean military responds to North Korea missiles with missile tests.

The South Korean ballistic missile has a 500 kilometer cruising capability with better warhead power. The second missile is capable of gliding along 800 km.

According to the Agency for Defense Development (ADD) missiles are an important element of the 'Kill Chain' prevention program if North Korea attacks. In addition, missiles are part of the Korean Massive Punishment and Retaliation (KMPR) scheme.

"Our military has a missile capability with the highest level of precision and power to attack any place in North Korea if necessary," ADD said.

According to the South Korean military, the latest missile launched by North Korea takes off near Pyongyang and flies eastwards. "The missile is flying as high as 1,677 miles and is at an altitude of 341 miles before landing at sea," the South Korean military said.

South Korean and Japanese officials said the missile was flying in the sky of Hokkaido Island, located in northern Japan. This is the first time a North Korean missile has crossed Japan since 1998 and 2009.

This missile is the second time in four days last North Korea launched missiles. On Saturday, August 26, the country's leader Kim Jong-un was known to fire three short-range missiles.
