Hello.
To be honest, I am a little disappointed. My previous article on this blog only got three likes. Three. At the time, I thought I had written something really interesting, that someone would feel the same way I did. But maybe it's not the right time. Or maybe I'm just looking too far ahead. And today, I'm going to look far ahead again. Into space.

I often think about what the future of humans in space will be like. Not just rockets and stations, but real life — with its money, rules, mistakes, and dreams. And so I imagine, if we ever really fly to the Moon, to Mars, and beyond — what will happen to money? We won't be carrying paper hryvnias or dollars with us. And here, in my opinion, cryptocurrencies can become something more than just a way to make money.
I don't think there will be banks in the usual sense in space. There won't be branches you can walk into. If we live on a lunar ship or at a base somewhere far away, everything will be digital. And then cryptocurrency could become the basis of a new economy. Not because it's trendy, but because it's convenient. It's not tied to a specific country. And in space, I think there won't be such clear boundaries as there are on Earth.
I imagine if we build a colony on the moon with 500 people. They work, extract ice, build housing, grow food. And then someone creates a local cryptocurrency — not for speculation, but simply to pay each other. We would then not depend on Earth's banks. We could create our own rules. In my opinion, this could give people a sense of freedom.
I think new technologies will emerge that we cannot even imagine now. For example, I imagine a ship flying to another planet for several years. It will have its own closed life support system. Water will be recycled, air will be purified, and food will be grown right inside. And then money could be linked to resources. For example, if you save water, you get more internal currency. If you help maintain the system, you get a reward.
I think everything will be fairer in space. Because there, you can't cheat the system. If someone steals oxygen or damages equipment, it could cost everyone their lives. And then, perhaps, cryptocurrency will work together with smart machines. The machines will automatically record who did what. And everything will be transparent.
I imagine if we ever fly to another galaxy. It sounds fantastic, but once upon a time, space flight seemed like a fairy tale. And there, far from Earth, people will no longer think about dollars or euros. They will think about energy, heat, survival. And then, in my opinion, money may become something else — not just a means to buy something, but a way to measure everyone's contribution to life together.
I think new types of ships will appear. Not just metal rockets, but living systems that partially grow on their own. I imagine a ship with a shell that repairs itself after damage. Inside, there would be small robots that repair everything themselves. And then even calculations between people could be automatic — you did something useful, the system saw it and credited you with cryptocurrency.
We could then create an entire space market. People on the Moon would exchange resources with people in Mars orbit. All through digital wallets. No delays, no lengthy checks. I think this could bring people together more than they are now.
But I also think that not everything will be perfect. If cryptocurrency becomes the basis of life in space, new problems will arise. Someone will try to seize more control. Someone will want to control the entire system. And then, if we are not careful, we will repeat the old earthly mistakes even in space.
I can imagine one more thing. If a person works on an asteroid, mining rare metals, they could be paid in space currency, which could be used anywhere — on a station, on a ship, on a new colony. And then it wouldn't matter what country you're from. I think this could erase many old divisions.
In my opinion, technology in space will be simpler but smarter. It won't necessarily involve complex words and complex systems. Everything will simply work as a single organism. People, machines, and money will all be in one flow. I think cryptocurrency could become part of this flow.
To be honest, I often think: what will happen to us in 200 years? Will we laugh at our current ideas? Maybe. But I imagine that if our descendants live somewhere among the stars, they won't even remember how it all started with small digital coins on Earth.
We would then look back and think: this is where it all began. With simple ideas, with people who believed that a new system could be created. And then, when I think about it, it seems to me that even three likes is not so little. Because maybe someone read it and started dreaming too.
I think that the future in space will not be about rockets. It will be about people. It will be about how we learn to live together in a confined space, how we share resources, how we trust each other. And if cryptocurrency helps us do this more honestly and easily, then perhaps it will become not just money, but part of a new civilization.
In my opinion, this is just the beginning. And even if it seems like a fantasy today, I think that someday it will become reality. And then someone will remember this article, and maybe it will get more than three likes.
