El presiente encargado de Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, no descartó, en una entrevista este viernes con AFP, autorizar una intervención militar de Estados Unidos o una fuerza extranjera en Venezuela, de ser necesario, para que Nicolás Maduro cese de usurpar el poder.
“Nosotros haremos todo lo posible. Esto es un tema obviamente muy polémico, pero haciendo uso de nuestra soberanía, el ejercicio de nuestras competencias, haremos lo necesario”, respondió Guaidó a la pregunta de si haría uso de las facultades como jefe del Parlamento y presidente encargado para autorizar eventualmente una intervención militar.
El dirigente, cuya presidencia interina reconocen medio centenar de países, enfatizó que hará “todo lo que sea necesario, todo lo que tengamos que hacer para salvar vidas humanas, para que no sigan muriendo niños” o pacientes por falta de medicinas.
“Vamos a hacer todo lo que sea que tenga menor costo social, que genere gobernabilidad y estabilidad para poder atender la emergencia”, sostuvo Guaidó, preguntado dos veces sobre si autorizaría una intervención militar. /AFP
