Hoy les traigo un post de este hermoso pueblito que tuve la oportunidad de conocer en esta Semana Santa, la Bahía de Cepe; queda después de Chuao, como a 20 minutos aproximadamente. Me quedé dos días, todo gracias a @Marijo-rm, sus compañeros de rural, a Rojo y Diana.
Today I bring you a post about this beautiful little town that I had the opportunity to visit this Easter, the Cepe Bay; It is after Chuao, about 20 minutes away. I stayed two days, all thanks to @Marijo-rm, his rural colleagues, Red and Diana.
Una de las labores de María y sus compañeros, es que a parte de trabajar en la Bahía de Chuao, deben hacerlo en Cepe y la ensenada de Tuja. Allí conoció a Rojo y Diana; ya que la casita de Médicos la comparten con ellos dos.
One of the tasks of María and her colleagues is that apart from working in Chuao Bay, they must do so in Cepe and the Tuja cove. There he met Rojo and Diana; since the Doctors' house is shared with the two of them.
Diana es la maestra del lugar, y Rojo es su esposo, también pescador local; gracias a ellos dos tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a pescar en Tuja, ya que a Rojo le correspondía turno de pesca allí; también de conocer el atardecer en la playa, algo que quería hacer desde siempre. Sólo que no voy muy frecuente a la playa, y las veces que voy me regreso muy temprano.
Diana is the local teacher, and Rojo is her husband, also a local fisherman; thanks to the two of them we had the opportunity to go fishing in Tuja, since Rojo had a turn to fish there; also to see the sunset on the beach, something I always wanted to do. It's just that I don't go to the beach very often, and the times I go I come back very early.
La playa es espectacular, super tranquila para bañarse, y algo que también noté es que muchos turistas prefieren quedarse aquí, antes que en Chuao; a pesar de que Chuao está muchísimo más poblada y tiene más cosas. Quizás precisamente sea por esto, la playa es más bonita. Aunque a pesar de ser Semana Santa, no habían muchas carpas.
The beach is spectacular, super quiet for bathing, and something that I also noticed is that many tourists prefer to stay here, rather than in Chuao; despite the fact that Chuao is much more populated and has more things. Perhaps it is precisely for this reason that the beach is prettier. Although despite being Holy Week, there were not many tents.
Tengo planeado volver en Junio a Chuao, y sin duda alguna Cepe está dentro de los lugares que quiero visitar otra vez; es un pueblo bastante tranquilo y pequeño; lo curioso es que las personas que lo habitan, no son muy sociables con los turistas, mucho menos con los doctores; la mayoría son Rubios; y como todo pueblo creen en muchos mitos y son supersticiosos.
I plan to return to Chuao in June, and without a doubt, Cepe is among the places I want to visit again; It is a fairly quiet and small town; The curious thing is that the people who inhabit it are not very sociable with tourists, much less with doctors; most are blondes; and like all people they believe in many myths and are superstitious.
