ELEGÍA
el padre se muere
y todavía
se relaciona al agua y los árboles
y yo no me puedo morir
con sus dolores de vientre
su tenesmo
su mal olor
y la vejiga vacía
y yo
le toco la frente o lo sorprende que le acaricio
el pecho
u observo su palidez
en los cabellos
como si el tenesmo de su alma
no quisiera
sino acompañarnos
una hora más
un día
para que la noche no baje por las ventanas
levante las cortinas
y se acueste
infiel en su cuerpo sin vida
y yo
voy hacia el baño
cierro la puerta
y dejo correr el agua del lavamanos.
mi camarada
muerte
flaca y aproximada
de lado a pecho
teta contra teta
cuero amado
que fuera cartuja y templo
que fuera
al menos todo lo imprevisto
porque necesitó hablar
o tener oídos
un poco de nervios
junto a la sábana
y el piso duro
luego estudiaron
y junto a mi vista
músculos y tendones
arterias y venas
todo sepultado
mientras deseaba caminar
y me dice
cómo está mi niño
y le digo la niña está bien
y me dice no me engañe
y le digo es niña y está bien
si lo puedo ver tráigamelo
y una de las médicos se lo acerca
como arroz en la hoja de parra
y ella dice que es el cuarto
que se le muere que el último era
anencefálico
y sus ojos se cierran hasta que todos
la agarran
cursis por la vida
emocionados por la vida
a pesar de los tubos y los tobos de sangre.
