Ya hoy en día alrededor del globo la mayoría de la población sabe o a escuchado algo referente al Bitcoin y cada ves son mas lo que ya hacen transacciones con esta criptomoneda. Pero ¿qué le da valor?.
A continuación tratare de explicarte como el Bitcoin obtiene su valor y por que este sigue escalando.
¿Por qué el Bitcoin tiene valor?
En el 2009 el Bitcoin fue lanzado al mercado como la primera moneda descentralizada, privada y digital. Como no tiene denominación física este solo existe dentro de una red de computadoras. Algo que no es extraño de ver hoy en día, ya que, las reservas de muchos países existen únicamente como balances digitales en lugar de papel moneda.
Los creadores del Bitcoin pusieron un limite en el total de su volumen. Una ves que los Bitcoin alcancen los 21 millones de unidades, no se podrán generar más. Se pueden comprar o vender por otras monedas y ser usado como inversión o dinero para comprar artículos de cualquier vendedor que los acepte.
Si analizamos lo que le da valor a una moneda, como la economía nos enseña, los valores son subjetivos, los objetos tienen valor económico porque la gente los desea por algún motivo. Las monedas o los medios de intercambio, desempeñan varias funciones diferentes y cruciales en la economía, como facilitar el comercio. Las monedas se usan para negociar casi cualquier bien o servicio.
Por ejemplo, supongamos que alguien tiene 20 manzanas y desea un hacha para cortar madera. Sin moneda, su única opción es que conseguir a alguien que desee manzanas y tenga un hacha, ademas de querer intercambiarla por las manzanas. Con moneda, como los Dolares, puede vender sus manzanas al que desee comprárselas y entonces usar su dinero para comprar su hacha.
La moneda también proporciona una medición universal para fines contables. Por ejemplo sin moneda, es dificil comparar empresas que venden distintos bienes. La moneda también se usa como almacén de valor, lo que facilita el ahorro la inversión y la banca.
Algunas monedas, como el oro, tienen valor porque son útiles como mercancía. Las monedas fiduciarias gubernamentales, como el dólar de los Estados Unidos, son valiosas porque los gobiernos les otorgan el estado de curso legal y sólo aceptan impuestos a través de ellos.
Entonces ¿Por qué las personas le dan valor al Bitcoin?.
Los Bitcoins no tienen valor como una mercancía física como el oro y no son amplia-mente aceptados como moneda de curso legal como los dolares. Más bien, parecen tener valor por las siguientes razones:
Es popular. Las personas aceptan y intercambian Bitcoins porque otras personas aceptan y intercambian Bitcoins. Es reconocido y aceptado como monedas por muchos .
Son descentralizados y limitados. Un factor importante para varios usuarios de Bitcoin. Son difíciles de rastrear y imponer impuesto por los gobiernos. Además, a diferencia del dinero fiduciario producido por los bancos centrales, hay un tope fijado en el total de Bitcoins, limitando cuánto la moneda se puede devaluar a través de la inflación.
Bitcoin actúa como una inversión de capital. El valor de mercado de Bitcoins ha tenido oscilaciones salvajes en el valor e incluso una tapa del mercado.
Bitcoin es una red social. La "comunidad" Bitcoin está activa y actúa como otras redes sociales en línea.
