Como ya ustedes saben la "Fundación Musical Kantoría" es una institución sin fines de lucro, y que, aunque no tiene recursos propios, ni tampoco recibe apoyo de ninguna institución pública ni privada, lleva a cabo una labor importante en nuestra localidad.
Parte de lo que hacemos es cantar, pero "No es solo Cantar por Cantar, es llevar nuestro canto a qien más lo necesite."
En este caso nos complace contarles que esta semana realizamos una visita a un ancianato de nuestra localidad, se llama "FUNGEVIS", sus siglas quieren decir FUNdación GEriátrico VIda y Salud.
Esta institución presta un servicio al adulto mayor, y quisimos compartir con ellos un poco de nuestro afecto, de nuestra alegría de nuestro canto, y además de eso quisimos donar algunos alimentos que hemos recogido cantando en algunas iglesias de nuestro pueblo.
Para esto, usamos esta imagen que compartimos a través de las redes sociales, y dimos un pequeño concierto en dichas iglesias, lo recolectado ahí y lo que salió del corazón de nuestros niños, lo llevamos a FUNGEVIS.
Es necesario resaltar que nuestros alumnos son niños de escasos recursos de zonas menos privilegiadas de nuestra región, pero con un corazón muy grande que son capaces de compartir de lo poco que tienen.
Esperamos con esta publicación que muchas personas se animen a ayudar con poco o mucho que puedan a quienes tengan cerca y lo necesiten.

We just immigrated to Suriname from Ecuador. We lived in a Venezuelan/Cuban neighborhood in Quito, and everybody was so friendly. It's a shame Venezuelans have such a tough time now in Ecuador. I think they would be more welcome in Suriname, as there is people shortage here. I think the Dutch/Spanish language barrier and Guyana make it too difficult. Ecuador is more culturally similar.
