Mi nombre es Génesis Gutiérrez, tengo 24 años, nací y crecí en el seno de una familia numerosa, amorosa y trabajadora, rodeada de muchas risas y expresiones autóctonas que podían hacer eco en cualquier lugar al rededor de la cuadra.
My name is Génesis Gutiérrez, I´m 24 years old, I was born and raised in the bosom of a large, loving and hard-working family, surrounded by many laughs and native expressions that could echo anywhere around the street.
Todo aquello muy propio de mi ciudad Maracaibo, una de las más importantes de Venezuela, de las más ricas en economía y cultura; a la vez pionera en las artes como música, gastronomía y muchos otros más. Hoy se por anécdotas y lo que he aprendido de historia que Maracaibo fué un sueño hecho lugar, sin embargo lo que aún queda de él se mantiene vivo en mi Corazón.
All that very typical in my city Maracaibo, one of the most important in Venezuela, for its economy and culture richness; at the same time a pioneer in the arts such as music, gastronomy and many others. Today I know by anecdotes and what I have learned from history that Maracaibo was a dream come true, however what remains of it is still alive in my heart.

Hoy en mi Nuevo normal, no sólo por la pandemía mundial que nos aqueja sino por todos los cambios que he vivido recientemente, tales como mudarme a otro país, madurar y enfrentarme a todas las responsabilidades que eso conlleva; he querido de cierta manera reinventarme al darme la oportunidad de expresarme a través de mis pasiones.
Today in my new normal, not only because of the world pandemic that afflicts us, it is because of all the changes I have experienced recently, such as moving to another country, maturing and facing all the responsibilities that this entails; I have wanted in a certain way to reinvent myself by giving me the opportunity to express through my passions.
Mi primer y más grande amor material sin lugar a dudas son los libros, éstos son de en los que aún hoy en día hacen que mi corazón se acelere y estremezca de emoción. Los libros me permiten viajar a otras realidades que muy probablemente yo nunca viviré, pero es allí donde radica la magia porque a través de ellos puedo vivirlo, conocerme y explorar mi opinión o posición ante algunas situaciones, así como aprender… todo esto sin la necesidad de un ticket de avión. Quizás mis palabras suenen un poco trilladas pero eso no les quita lo cierto, puesto que éstos se han convertido en mi refugio y escape durante muchos años; además de presentarme a mi Segundo gran amor, la escritura.
My first and greatest material love is definitely books, these are the ones that today still make my heart race and shake with emotion. Books allow me to travel to other realities that I will most likely never live, but that is where the magic lives because through them I can live it, get to know myself and explore my opinion or position in some situations, as well as learn... all this without the need of an airplane ticket. Maybe my words sound a little bit cliché but that doesn't take away the truth, because they have become my refuge and escape for many years; besides introducing me to my second great love, writing.

However, as I said before, that's not all we can be, there is a whole world to be explored in each mind; so in this blog my intention is to create content that provides a source of distraction, to share the things that make me happy and the experiences that have made me grow as a person and I hope they can be useful to you.
