En este post les mostrare como configuramos nuestro consola git, y algunos comandos básicos que nos serán de mucha ayuda al momento de trabajar con git en nuestros proyectos.
Primero vamos a configurar un nombre de usuario en git y un email, lo hacemos de la siguiente forma...
$ git config --global user.name "Juan Pablo"
$ git config --global user.email [email protected]
Con estos dos comandos asignamos un nombre de usuario y un correo a nuestro git, ahora si queremos verificar que se hayan aplicado los cambios lo hacemos con el siguiente comando...
$ git config --list
Y obtendremos un listado de nuestras configuraciones básicas de git..
Si queremos cambiar más opciones o conocer cuales hay, solo escribimos este comando $ git config y nos dara un listado de opciones por configurar.
Podemos configurar los diferentes colores de nuestra consola, o comandos.
También si queremos podemos usar $ git --help para ver cuales son los comandos más importantes en git y para que nos sirven.
Si deseamos más información podemos visitar esta página donde nos dan un buen resumen de la configuración de cada cosa en git.
Otra cosa importante es que mi terminal luce diferente a las demás y esto es por que uso una herramienta que me personaliza mi consola de comandos, en esta página lo pueden instalar y configurar a su gusto, y este es el repositorio en github donde podemos encontrar más comandos y formas de usarlo. Es muy bueno y me ha ayudado mucho para trabajar con mi consola de comandos.
