El presidente del Gobierno, Mariano Rajoy, no ha querido adelantar este viernes ninguno de los acuerdos que el Gobierno pondrá mañana en marcha el Consejo de Ministros extraordinario convocado para activar el artículo 155 de la Constitución. "Hemos pactado con PSOE y Ciudadanos medidas para volver a la legalidad" en Cataluña, ha dicho desde Bruselas. El PSOE ha anunciado esta mañana que habían acordado la celebración de elecciones el próximo enero, entre otras medidas. El vicepresidente de la Generalitat, Oriol Junqueras, se ha mostrado contrario a convocar elecciones. "El pleno del Senado para aprobar esas medidas se reunirá el próximo viernes. Rajoy ha acudido esta tarde a Oviedo a la ceremonia de entrega de los Premios Princesa de Asturias. Durante su discurso, el Rey ha destacado que "España tiene que hacer frente a un inaceptable intento de secesión en una parte de su territorio nacional" que "resolverá por medio de sus legítimas instituciones democráticas, dentro del respeto a nuestra Constitución".Mientras, la juez de la Audiencia Nacional Carmen Lamela ha ordenado investigar el tráfico de llamadas entre los cuatro investigados por sedición (Jordi Sànchez, Jordi Cuixart, Josep Lluís Trapero y Teresa Laplana).
