Hace dos semanas que estuve de caminata por la ribera de un río, uno de tantos que rodean a mi ciudad; siempre ando en busqueda de flores. Soy la mujer de las flores, así que no hay remedio. Hoy les presento otra especie representativa de la familia de las Heliconias. Este tipo de flor crece en forma silvestre en nuestra región amazónica y puede durar hasta 15 días en un jarrón. Su color natural es salmón y la he editado para dar un tono naranja, únicamente ajustando la iluminación en lightroom.

Two weeks ago I was hiking on the bank of a river, one of many that surround my city; I'm always looking for flowers. I am the woman with the flowers, so there is no remedy. Today I bring you another representative species of the Heliconias family. This type of flower grows wild in our Amazon region and can last up to 15 days in a vase. Its natural color is salmon and I have edited it to give an orange tone, only adjusting the lighting in lightroom.

Es bellisima, se ve fuerte y delicada a la vez... Se me asemeja a una flor que coloquialmente aqui en Venezuela le llamamos Ave de Paraiso.
Aqui le llamamos Ave del paraíso a una que tiene forma de ave, sin embargo es de la misma familia de las heliconias.

Hermosa flor y excelente edición, tienen una gran variedad de hermosas flores, y muy sorprendentes, que nunca había visto en mi vida, y aún no puedo dejar de imaginarme mujeres guerreras cada vez que oigo la palabra "Amazonas" jajaja
