La Xana
Las Xanas son divinidades acuáticas que habitan en las fuentes, arroyos y lagunas. Su apariencia física es de gran belleza y sólo se muestran al amacecer, preferentemente en la noche de San Juan, peinando sus cabellos con peine de oro. Son dueñas de fantásticos rebaños de ganado que sacan a pastar en la noche de San Juan y que desaparecen tras ellas por el ojo de la fuente al rayar el alba, custodian fabulosos tesoros que reservan como premio a quien sea capaz de romper su encantamiento.

La Xana
The Xanas are aquatic divinities that inhabit the springs, streams and lagoons. Their physical appearance is of great beauty and they are only shown when they are amazed, preferably on the night of San Juan, combing their hair with a gold comb. They own fantastic herds of cattle that they take out to graze on the night of San Juan and disappear behind them by the eye of the fountain at dawn. They guard fabulous treasures that they reserve as a reward for those who are capable of breaking their enchantment.
