Esta espesa sangre,
sangre animal y fiera,
fluyó a través de mí,
como petróleo inflamable,
fuera de mis venas;
fundió las esperanzas de mis padres,
todos los sueños y certidumbres,
avanzando lento
como río primitivo,
escupió sobre el zeitgeist entero
de esta imbécil sociedad.
Como un odio exquisito
ahogó a todos mis sacerdotes
y sumergió sin penas ni vergüenzas
a los paladines de la moral.
Plutón venció el eclipse,
me invitó a raptar doncellas
y a librar mil guerras profanas
contra estas legiones de payasos.
Lloré mis últimas lágrimas,
dedicadas a la mentira del mundo,
y Caronte besó mis labios
con ese amor hondo y desnudo
que ninguna mujer es capaz de dar.
Luego el eclipse tomó mis carnes
y así perdí mi rostro,
y me tragaron mis sombras,
y me hice guerrero del olvido,
y el mundo me obsequió sus aromas,
y ahora mi esencia me intoxica
para no tener que ver cada día
tus ridículos tanques de plástico
aplastando tus más bellos jardines
desde aquel día trágico
en que decidiste, con alegría,
ser el peor enemigo
de tu propio corazón.

The following information is not what I consider to be low hanging fruit (Think of an apple tree, the apples that hang low are most often picked. Only certain people will streach high to reach the upper fruit.) Many people assume that economics is a topic that is trivial. But as the following article points out, economics is a topic that deeply impacts the physical lives of people.

I like that article. I always feel that the ancient religious wisdom contains deep understandings about the human psyche, and it's important to go deeper and gather that knowledge for the sake of our lives (as individuals and societies). We just need to discover what lies behind the symbols.
It seems certain that our nature leads us to rule over nature but our actions must be wise, a good management, or we'll destroy nature and our own selves (because we are part of that natural system). If someday we learn the balance of life, we could become the good rulers of the Earth.
