RE: Until We Can Read Minds, Every Friendship or Bond We Form Remains a Gamble!

in #speakyourmind6 years ago

Thoughtful write-up

"Forming ties and bonds should be the definition of gambling. All you get to do is trust blindly since you can neither read minds nor live in isolation hence this is a gambling center or casino everyone MUST visit. You do not get to choose this time whether or not you want to be a gambler. Everyone partakes!"".

You don't get to choose family, but you do get to choose your friends, and frankly, there is always going to be that one friend whose bond would seem stronger than even your blood- so to say.

I don't totally agree with the gambling aspect, but yes, its okay to keep an open mind...hope for the best and expect the worse- in friendship.

Thank you for sharing your insightful thoughts. As for the gambling bit you don't agree with, I'd say that even the best of carefully chosen friendships could go wrong. It is a rare occurrence with strong bonds like you described but it still goes wrong sometimes, so what are the odds? We can't tell the end from the beginning. We can only hope for the best and expect the worse like you said.

Yes...we are humans after all. Thanks for sharing too ☺
