Hm good point but you could always just move the real BTC somewhere else before claiming the fake shit. Assuming the airdrop is worth anything.
If you move the BTC before the claim, those wallets would then be empty so nothing to claim :)
maybe the confusion is coming from this word "claim"

all the BTC is automatically cloned to the new chain

Actually my plan is to sell BTC to other people farming the airdrop if the price is good.
Farming the airdrop is dumb it's what everyone would be doing.
Best to sell like a month before the airdrop and expect prices to fall in a sell the news event.
I doubt that such a fishy airdrop would cause any movement in the BTC price, but who knows.
All that matter is how much money they have behind them... which might be a lot if they are able to lure investors using the satoshi ninjamine.
