What's the point of magic if you declaw it that much?
Your spellwork will in most cases affect other people, whether you want it or not.
For example, if you do a spell to help you get a job, to make your CV stand out, for you to seem more eloquent, for the interviewer to take a liking to you - isn't that in some way infringing on the interviewer's 'consent'? And you're skewing the chances of someone else not getting the job, too.
Or let's look at weather spells - you may be doing it with good intentions, bringing rain into an area that's been very dry, but you didn't ask all the people who live there if they're okay with it, did you? Perhaps someone didn't want to trudge through mud the next day, or was counting on more sunny days to finish some work outside. You couldn't have known, and you couldn't have asked.
Finally I think a great example is glamour spells, especially because they're often praised in the online community as very positive and affirming of one's preferred perceived gender. And let me be clear, I also think they can be great! But if we follow the same logic, you're forcing a certian perception onto people who didn't consent to it.
To conclude, I don't think people ask us for permission for everything in mundane circumstances, either. Someone may want to take care of you when you're sick, or gift you something, or praise you to coworkers to give you a better reputation. There's nuances to the situations, of course, but ultimately I think it's much more common and normalized than the online community believes
