RE: New Age Bullshit Part 1 - Self Proclaimed "Lightworkers"

in #spirituality7 years ago

Wise words. What you are writing about here, however, is going to be automagically dismissed by your love-and-light-obsessed spiritual readers. They have a vested interest in focusing on just one small range of the wholeness of their being, in going spiritual, non-violent, and vegan, so they can stay disconnected from their subconscious feelings of anger, fear of physical death and judgments around wild, primal, raw sex, in favor of "psychic energetic love making". They are trying to transcend physical reality and pursue longevity or even immortality so they don't ever have to sit together with their so deeply tucked down fear of physical death that only eating a giant plate of rare steak could reconnect them with at this stage. They've strayed far from their own light indeed and the electric, domineering (of their denied energetic ranges) sparks of their thinking, their higher ideals and judging morals have become their guiding light. I don't blame them, because often they have to deal with extreme traumatic anger and sexual issues that they are trying to distance from in this way. And they have bought into beliefs that what makes them good enough is to be spiritual and non-violent. They have extremely effective "painkiller" spiritual techniques that give them the high energy levels to mask any negative emotion and being disconnected from their full energetic range.

I can say these with absolute certainty because I've seen the darkest depths and brightest illusions of the lightworker identity. We're talking about living exclusively on green vegetable juices for half a damn year, doing regular enemas while living as a hermit, 'cleansing' my energetic system through energy work, yoga, pranayama and more cutting edge technology. I even discovered how to do telekinesis and was meditating with half a freaking ton of crystals up in the Himalayas for a whole year. Trust me, I do know how far the lightworker identity can lead one away from the truth of who they are.

I wanted to go into this niche of guiding lightworkers back into who they really are, but the ultra spiritual guy in the pink t-shirt above beat me to it. He's probably not making much of a difference in their lives either, because of the extreme denial and unrecognised pain and disconnect these people are in. However, through his use of humor, he might be able to break the pattern of resistance in some lightworkers to land a punch on them and make them become staggered a bit. Straying from my current niche a bit, I'll probably write about my lightworker journey back to my wholeness on my website too because that's more relatable and transformative than telling people what their lightworker patterns may be.

Anyways, for the rest of us, what you're writing about is common sense, and hopefully common practice too ;)

Take care,

Attila Beres, he didn't beat us to it, he is but an inspiration for more people like us to come out with our own unique brand and stories that pack a similar [grounding and reality check] punch. my personal story is of a marine combat infantryman turned yogin. I use the term Yogin over Yogi because of it's phonetic distinction and it's use in vedic text referring to more a of warrior-class of spiritually enlightened folk. I use Iron in the sense both literally because i love tossing around heavy ass shit in the gym and also metaphorically because like iron i have been forged, purified and sharpened by the fires of life, not only on the exterior but also interior, as i am a heavy Aries fire sign, very Pitta dominant in Ayurveda and so stubborn that i have a track record of self-sabotage. the irony of it all is that i am now self-aware enough to see it, admit it, own it, and now transmute and repackage it in to a brand to help inspire who ever can relate. hope this serves you as some inspiration to not be thwarted by what the amazing and exalted JP Sears has done, but to rather use it for inspiration :)
