In spiritual circles there is much talk of ascending. What does this really mean?
When we are coming into our mother’s womb we descend from spirit into matter and in order to be born again we can descend into the Womb of Gaia for a second rebirth. This process is in many ways like a death process. Lao Tzu say’s “If you want to be reborn, let yourself die”. This is a metaphorical proclamation though it’s intensity is great. This death and rebirth process is the core of all great spiritual lineages and teachings. It requires we go through the bardo realms that are passed through at death and to clear the fields of our emotional and mental bodies allowing for the glory of grace to descend into our being. The truth is we are already infinitely wise beings, yet traumatic imprints on our genes have caused our collective memory of this to become clouded or veiled.
This process of journeying through the bardo realm is described in the Gene Keys as “The intermediary stage between incarnations. At a certain point before your physical death you enter into the bardo sequence, in which the subtle layers of your aura begin a process of disengagement from the lower three bodies (physical, astral, mental). This sequence leads to physical death, but also continues after death. In the bardo stages after death our subtle bodies move through a series of alchemical distillation in which the low frequency material that we have collected throughout our incarnation is separated from the high frequency essence. The continuity of the Bardo cycles and their sequences interconnect our many lifetimes until we transcend human evolution at the 6th Initiation.”
Often, people want “instant enlightenment” and transformation. While peak states are without a doubt attainable and to be cherished the spiritual work of ascension is a labor of love. In order to rebirth ourselves in the fullest, deepest and highest sense our patience and surrender to the Divine Feminine Flow of life is called upon. It takes us about nine moons to be ready to be born into the world the first time and when we rebirth it requires at least as much ebbing and flowing of the slow gentle rhythms of the “Womb time”. Yet, this is something we can actually do. We can reconceive, re-gestate and rebirth our life experiences that imprinted upon us and come fully into the gifts of our eternal soul. We can rebirth, resurrect, and regenerate our body temples. We do this by coming down into our bodies and into the Earth, reconnecting with the majesty of the Queendom of Heaven on Earth. She is always waiting for us to remember the gifts of Her superabundant nature.
In the bible it discusses the ascension of Christ saying:
9What does “He ascended” mean, except that He also descended to the lower parts of the earth?10He who descended is the very one who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.… Ephesians 4:9-10

This is a shamanic process that I believe was assisted by his beloved Mary Magdalene whose titular name means Magic Doorway. I sense that she opened a doorway for him to descend into the Earth and be reborn or resurrected. This is quite possibly more metaphorical than a literal death and resurrection though a literal resurrection would conceivably rest within the realm of possibilities. It is mentioned in the Qu ‘ran that it was a staged crucifixion and that he in fact was spared this horrendous and shocking abuse. It is possible that the ‘crucifixion’ and resurrection actually happened on the Grail Cross of Mary Magdalene. The Grail Cross or the Sacred Feminine Medicine Wheel is a sacred transmission that was received by Seren and Azra Bertrand, M.D. the co-founders of the Fountain of Life and co-authors of Womb Awakening.
I’ve devoted myself as a Womb Priestess, a Spirit Keeper of the Womb and the Divine Feminine Mystery. Throughout the past four or so years I have studied and journeyed with The Fountain of Life on various programs and on the 9 Moon Apprenticeship. Through this process I’ve received many incredibly potent life changing spiritual revelations. They happened in a flash and yet had built up from my passionate devotion and longing for Union and Truth. At one time I became Gaia as well as the vast spaciousness of the Cosmic Womb holding her. I felt in my body the fruit of the Tree of Life. My womb became the ‘forbidden’ fruit of the Garde of Eden and my brain turned into a butterfly. The process of rebirth is not over for me though. As a Womb Priestess I am devoted to the Great Remembering. I feel for the entire world. I feel all the pain as well as the joy and I will leave no wound without balm. On this path nothing is forbidden or left out.
