The waxing and waning of the Moon is really a Dance of Sacred Union between the masculine and feminine. We all have a fiery solar masculine aspect as well as a watery lunar feminine energy that lives within us.
When we connect with these life flows and become aware in an embodied way of the deep influence they have on our life we can begin to direct this energy with intention to serve our growth and soulful evolution.
The New Moon is a time of new beginnings and a time to connect deeply with the Womb of Gaia. Honoring this cosmic event and allowing yourself to attune to the lunar codes being poured down from above invites a powerful energy of transformation into your life. It is possible to receive visions and spirit world messages at this time that will serve you in the fulfillment of your dreams and soul purpose.
Moon worship has been forbidden, persecuted, and distorted. As awareness and reverence for the Lunar Cycles grow in our modern world there is often a separation between the masculine and feminine in circles and sacred gatherings. There was once a time when communities and tribes gathered together with men, women and children to bow to the Moon and receive her ancient wisdom codes.
When we gather together men and women and children to celebrate these cosmic consciousness portals we dissolve the old stories of separation and enter into the eternal field of Sacred Union Consciousness.
There are many ways to open to the energy of the moon. A simple and extremely potent way is to create lunarized water. You can do this by setting water out beneath the moon in a glass or metal container (not plastic preferably). Then in the morning you drink from it and anoint sacred centers on your body temple with the energetically infused water. You can do this every night, at every quarter moon or whenever you feel like it. You can also place crystals or flowers in the water to receive their essence as well .
