My First Splinterlands Lore Video - Shock Trooper

in #splinterlands29 days ago (edited)

Greetings Splinterlands community!
Using AI tools, I’ve transformed the story of Lash Stagmuck that we find in the lore of one of our favorite cards Shock Trooper into an animated short - mixing narration, character art, and scene transitions.
Watch the video here:

Why this experiment?

Splinterlands has some of the richest lore in blockchain gaming. But much of it lives in text form. I wanted to see if we could frame these stories visually - almost like short animated chapters. @ghostlybg, @clayboyn, @shadecroat and @pfork and me were talking about it on discord today and I thought why not.

This first video is an experiment. If it connects with the community and gets good feedback, I’d love to create more.

How you can help

  • Watch the video and let me know what you think
  • Suggest which characters or stories you’d like to see next
  • Share ideas for making these lore videos even better

Thanks for checking this out.

Good.

However, needs significant amount of additional work to make anything presentable.

This is too simple and easy to create and not really original these days.

But okay for a first try.

Thanks AZ!
I agree. I am still experimenting with the tools I am using and this was the first attempt so definitely there are room for improvements.
I will be working on the next one tomorrow and try to do better.

If you write a hive post you must pack a lot of content in it. Hive likes 500 words plus posts on average. The text can't be AI generated and must be original. Also consider adding engagement at hive. This means commenting on others post and make connections and networking. That means telling others about yourself and asking others about themselves.

It's a lot of work and takes significant time commitment. This is a social network.

PS: what shade did below is something you should never do. He tagged me and asked for vote. At hive that is called vote begging. You should never do that and if you see someone doing it you should speak up and discourage it. Tagging is okay if you want to discuss something important but can't be "oh look I have published a great post!"

Thanks for your suggestions.
I can understand AI generated articles add no value and I would not try that. These videos are generated with AI just to connect with the lores in an audio visual manner which I felt many community members would find interesting.
Though they are AI generated, there are some manual efforts to generate them.
I will be sharing the process in an article this weekend.
If I create more videos like this, do you feel they would be considered repeatative and unoriginal ?

This is dope!

Thank you 😀

That's great! I wanna see more! ;-)

Nice work, I enjoyed this! Would love to see more.

Ideas for what to see next. Something with Dr. Blight or Silas maybe?

Thank you for checking this out and sharing recommendation.
Will try to do Dr. Blight next. It is a very cool card.

Another one I would like to see is Nidhogger. At YGG we requested some specific things in the lore image and I am going to post about eventually. A video with Nidhogger slaying a Knight and Dragon would be cool and go well with my post 😀

Thanks for the suggestions 😀

@azircon if this isn't upvote worthy, then your not a sheriff.

Very cool video liked it a lot!

Thanks buddy!
